All praises to Allah.
Allah enabled us to reach Ramadhan this year.
It is that part of the year in which all Muslims look forward to, will never get enough of and will always value.
Ramadhan is the month of reflection, where we gather together and feel a sense of unity, secure-ness, together-ness, all for one reason and one reason only. Seeking Allah's forgiveness :)
It is pretty much a big deal to be able to experience Ramadhan again in our lives.
Rasulullah (SAW) had mentioned, "Who fasted in the month of Ramadhan out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all of his past sins will be forgiven." - Bukhari.
And also in another hadith,
"Those who are at loss during Ramadhan are the ones who did not obtain Allah's forgiveness out of it."
Some of the reasons why Ramadhan is just so awesome:
1. It gives us time to reflect upon our mistakes and change as much as we could for His sake.
To me, the beauty of Ramadhan is felt because you know Allah has made it so special that the syaitan are chained, and the gates of Jannah are wide open. Allah is making it easier for us to fight our nafs (no syaitan whispering in our ears to do this or that, how cool is that? ^^), to avoid the worldly temptations and to give it all we've got doing as much of good deeds as we can. During Ramadhan, you just know, that Allah is giving you a chance.
2. It gives a reason to start doing more good and preventing from the bad. And with this kept in mind, insya Allah, in time, with sincere hearts, we'll go on and continue doing good and preventing from the bad for Allah's sake.
3. It is a month filled with forgiveness. Allah's door of forgiveness has always been opened for His servants and His Mercy can never be compared to anything in this world. So let's try our best to be more forgiving towards others, noting the fact that we would like the same if we did others wrong. Tolerate more, give in more and value the relationship you have with others more and for once, let your ego slide.
4. If there is a word to describe how special something so beautifully and amazingly special may be, it would be the night of Lailatul Qadr. Allah describes in the Qur'an, it is the night better than a thousand months. And allow me to ask you this, what better way to welcome this night than devoting ourselves completely before the Creator of the universe? :)
5. Charity charity charity. Allah multiplies every good deeds when Ramadhan comes. So even if it's a little, let's do charity every day. Give sadaqah (please do not forget that a smile is also a form of sadaqah ^^) and let our hearts be purified after every sadaqah. Ameen.
To me, these are some of the few things Ramadhan offers. There are a lot more, trust me.
So in a nutshell, it is an opportunity all of us should seek.
May this Ramadhan be better than the last.
May all of us come out victorious in the end. Ameen.
All praises to Allah.

The world is full of fallacy and yet we often fall for it. "Keep on believing; never lose hope in Allah's rahmah for He has knowledge of things that you have no knowledge of."
"Death is an unexpected and unpredictable thing. Allah SWT had mentioned in the Quran that every soul shall taste death. When every next moment could be our last, what have we done today that could guarantee our entrance to Jannah in the Akhira?"
"When it may seem like no one understands, believe.
When it may seem like it's too hard to bear, believe.
When you feel as though you're all alone, believe.
Believe, because no one understands you better than the Almighty Creator. Believe, because Allah will provide you strength and does not tests you unless He knows that you could bear it. Believe, because Allah has always been there with you, every step of the way. So don't ever give up hope, don't ever give in to the dunya, don't let anyone stop you from staying in the straight path because 'Innallaha ma'as sobireen.'
Keep on believing." ;]
Reminder
Whatever it is that you chose to do in your life, lead it where Allah pleases.
Dare to dream big.
Always have hope in Allah, He'll never disappoint you :)
May Allah always provide us with strength to strive for His Jannah in this world for an everlasting happiness in the akhira. Amiin.
