If we look around us and observe our everyday surroundings, we'll come to realize that our society nowadays are just following what the society itself has labelled everyone with.
Those men who doesn't wear songkok or kopiah may be someone who doesn't practise Islam often.
Those who wear are considered as 'religious'.
Those women who doesn't wear 'tudung labuh' is not some ustazah and not fit to advise when something wrong is being done.
This is wrong.
Our Prophet Muhammad himself had mentioned,
"Convey from me if even it is one verse." - "Sampaikan dariku walaupun sepotong ayat."
He did not mention that you have to be perfect to spread da'wah.
No, he never mentioned such things.
It doesn't matter what kind of a person you are, as long as your intention is good and towards finding Allah's pleasure, then that's what matters.
Allah looks at your efforts, He looks at how much you're trying to change yourself for the better.
He knows you better than anyone else in this world. So it may hurt when others criticize you for wanting to advise them, but Allah knows what lies in each and everyone's hearts. Let Him be the judge of that.
Because da'wah is an invitation.
Da'wah is inviting people to do good and insya Allah preventing them from doing the bad. That's what da'wah is about. If it means that we're advising someone so that they leave the bad, then that's already a step for us towards finding Mardhotillah (Allah's pleasure).
Imam Hasan Al-Basri had mentioned,
We do not wait for perfection in order to start spreading da'wah.
Hilal Asyraf stated,
"Spreading da'wah is like shooting randomly."
Out of those random shoots, we do not know where it'll hit. But one thing for sure, if Allah wills for hidayah (guidance) for His servants & once He wills to open up the hearts of His servants, then nothing on this earth will be able to stop it.
If by spreading da'wah means that we are improving ourselves, then go ahead. Do it step by step.
Rabbi yassir wa la tu'assir - Oh Allah, ease our way and do not cause hardship on it.
With sincere intentions, Allah will ease your way. Have faith.
Everyone can do da'wah.

There's more than what meets the eyes.
A servant of Allah ♥
The world is full of fallacy and yet we often fall for it. "Keep on believing; never lose hope in Allah's rahmah for He has knowledge of things that you have no knowledge of."
"Death is an unexpected and unpredictable thing. Allah SWT had mentioned in the Quran that every soul shall taste death. When every next moment could be our last, what have we done today that could guarantee our entrance to Jannah in the Akhira?"
"When it may seem like no one understands, believe.
When it may seem like it's too hard to bear, believe.
When you feel as though you're all alone, believe.
Believe, because no one understands you better than the Almighty Creator. Believe, because Allah will provide you strength and does not tests you unless He knows that you could bear it. Believe, because Allah has always been there with you, every step of the way. So don't ever give up hope, don't ever give in to the dunya, don't let anyone stop you from staying in the straight path because 'Innallaha ma'as sobireen.'
Keep on believing." ;]
Reminder
Whatever it is that you chose to do in your life, lead it where Allah pleases.
Dare to dream big.
Always have hope in Allah, He'll never disappoint you :)
May Allah always provide us with strength to strive for His Jannah in this world for an everlasting happiness in the akhira. Amiin.
